Public Notice - Flooding and Road Conditions
Due to ongoing flooding and washout conditions, combined with the additional precipitation in the forecast, roads and municipal infrastructure may become compromised with little to no notice.
If there is water crossing the road, do not attempt to drive through it as the road surface may be compromised underneath.
To report flooding or washouts on municipal roads, please contact the municipal office by calling 705-382-3232 or Fred Schmeltz, Roads Supervisor 705-783-0064.
Residents are strongly encourage to prepare a 72-hour (or longer) emergency kits for family and pets to ensure you are ready in the event of an emergency. Water, Food, Heat, and Shelter. Do not delay!
Call "911" for emergency services if you require immediate assistance.
